Melanie is in bed. Let me clarify that. She is laying down (reluctantly) in the double bed beside us. She is doing more exploring of all the space, and all the noises, and all the other things than she is relaxing and sleeping. I think there are just too many new things going on.We ate a little pizza this evening, then took a dip in the pool. We didn’t arrive at the hotel until after 6 – it’s nice! Not 4 stars or anything, but more than adequate for what we’ll be doing – sitting on the beach!! Melanie had a great time in the pool – she didn’t even throw fits about going under the water. She met a new friend, played shark for a while – but the air was cold, so we came in. Took a nice warm shower. And what is her comment? “This is the best part of the whole cashun, mommy!”
The shower. Sheesh. We could have done that at home for free!!
If she ever goes to sleep tonight it will be a miracle!!
